Before you can see a dentist, rinse your mouth with warm water, use dental floss to remove any food caught between your teeth, and avoid putting painkillers directly against the gums near the aching tooth. Avoid taking any pain killers before your appointment, incase the medications mask the pain which would make it difficult to diagnose correctly.
If an extraction is the best solution for your emergency, we strive to perform it on the same day to relieve your pain and prevent further complications.
